I have had a good response from people from my blog and posts on other forums.
So I decided it would be a good idea to make my own forum so people could talk and share views about Windermere and surrounding areas.

New Year lets go out and start enjoying it!

Well after a great Christmas and a cracking New Year I like many other could do with a nice weekend break. I'm off up to the lakes this weekend to take in some of that wonderful scenery.

But if your like me and don't fancy braving the weather in a tent then why not try one of the many hotels on windermere.
